Hospitality

A typical day in the Maldives might involve a leisurely breakfast, either served in your room or buffet style in the restaurant, normally situated somewhere with a spectacular view of the horizon. Once breakfast has settled a swim, snorkel or dive would be an exciting way to spend the morning. When lunchtime comes around, a range of foods can be enjoyed at the poolside or alfresco on the beach, and of course served in the restaurant. Afterwards, full stomachs and a morning full of sunshine, this normally leads to a nap in the shade!

After the hottest part of the day it’s probably time for another swim, dive or perhaps a game of waterpolo or volleyball. Then a quick change of outfit, followed by cocktails watching the sunset and dinner in the restaurant, or perhaps al fresco on the beach, or even a deserted sandbank under the stars!

Staff

Your residence is your island home-from-home, so your katheeb won’t come in unannounced, and you’ll be given a phone so you can reach him whenever you need to. But you’ll be embraced by the unique Amilla spirit throughout this tropical paradise; rewarded with beaming smiles and a heartfelt by-name welcome by everyone you meet.

Villa

The villa is 4 bedrooms on each side which mirror each other when the retractable wall is pulled back to become a 8 bedrooms super villa. A tiny less-than-one-kilometer-long jewel of an island, Amilla Fushi rises on the edge of the Baa Atoll, home to some of the richest waters in the Maldives and a biosphere reserve protected as a UNESCO World Heritage site since 2011.

This Miami-style contemporary architecture is the largest of the eight hyper-luxury Beach Villa Residences.  It is perfect for multiple families and large groups of friends who seek palatial space for entertaining without compromising personal privacy.  In keeping with its name, this residence is great in so many ways – outrageously super-sized living rooms, immense master bedrooms and supremely comfortable guest suites, kitchen and bar with every conceivable gadget and gizmo, two pools and sun terraces, and myriad extras including gym equipment, table tennis, pool table, and PlayStation 4.
