What a great Birthday Celebration in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.

Peru is my absolute favorite country in Latin America. I just love the culture, the food and the handicrafts. The Nazca Lines really fascinate me. The massive scale of the hummingbird, the funny four and five fingers of the monkeys, and perfect symmetrical patterns of the spider all just blow me away. Discover the ancient Incan citadel of Machu Picchu with our expert private guide who’ll make the ruins come alive with history, enjoy the epic scenery of the Sacred Valley of the Incas and the rich history of Cusco. From here perhaps board a luxury train to the high altitude waters of Lake Titicaca or head to the seaside city of Lima and its world famous culinary scene en route to the great green Amazon. You’ll get up close to ancient cultures and awe-inspiring natural wonders in the company of local guides whose passion for their country is contagious.

Belize is more of a dynamic country than most people know, with a mixture of Kriol, Garifuna and Mayan heritage.

The wildlife and bird life are abundant, being home to both the Jaguar and the World’s second largest barrier reef. From visiting ancient archaeological sites to kayaking on rivers surrounded by thick rain forests, and diving among coral reefs to soaking up the sun on Caribbean beaches: Belize makes for both an easy and unusual trip.

Colombia My first trip to South America visiting Colombia. Where do I begin…
The beautiful Cartagena, a picturesque old city with so much history and culture. My family and I rode around this little city on horse carriage and was just amazed at the sight. The natives enjoying their outside games and tourists just soaking up the culture. One thing you cannot forget about Cartagena is the beautifully colored buildings that house residents, restaurants and shops. I loved every minute of it. On the other side of Cartagena, not as picturesque but just as great, was a club (forgot the name) that was filled with so much soul and excitement. The band playing live Latin music while the mojitos are flowing, if it wasn’t for me being a bit shy I would have likely gotten up and danced my life away. I’ve always wanted to have that Latin club moment like Vanessa Williams did in the movie Dance With Me, but for now I’ll live vicariously through her. Nonetheless, an amazing experience altogether. One thing you cannot forget to do is take a boat ride to the Rosario Islands. My family and I rented a private boat that took us to the Islands and it was an amazing sight to see. The color of the water so beautifully turquoise blue.
My love, Medellin. Although, I was there for 48 hours, I fell in love with her after being there for less than 24. Something about this city amazes me. Every aspect of Medellin is special. Whether its the slums of Santo Domingo, going through the mountains and seeing these beautifully developed modern houses and the agriculture. I particularly loved going through Santo Domingo and taking a cable car ride. I went up about 10,000 feet in the air to the mountain and experienced some amazing views of the city and Santo Domingo (the poor city). Although, I never been to Brazil, Santo Domingo kind of reminded me of the favelas because of how the houses were very similar. I loved Santo Domingo. These moments are not everyday experiences and taking it all in made me fall in love with that city and will forever cherish that moment.
I also experienced Guatape & El Penor via tour. Its a beautiful sight to see with its green water. I climbed the Penol stone. A 740 step climb up… yes 740 steps (Yikes!) to the top but once you get to the top you’ll then realize why the leg burning, out of breath cant breath moments, almost giving up was totally worth it. When you reach to the top.. just WOW. My words will not describe the views so its best that you just see the pictures….

Phuket turned out to be heartbreaking when we left because we truly was spoiled. I will tell you that the US dollar was $35-1, the food was fresh and the pampering in which the group received daily was just what we need after a long journey. The staff at WNJ was amazing they not only catered to our every need, but they allowed us to be relaxed and never once bothered us about the noise level, the partying, the cleaning up you name it. I would highly recomend WNJ in Kamala, Phuket because overall you get all you need and more. The house manager Ann is the sweatest person you could meet and very knowledgeable on  any questions you may have while visiting Phuket. We are already planning the next trip !!!

Cayman Islands was by far, One of the best vacation spots the Passport Club has visited.  It’s upbeat vibe, culture, and local cuisine will have you feeling like you never left the cultural melting pot of New York. We had the pleasure of staying right along the main strip and residence on the beach Seven Mile at this amazing villa. We also attended the local festival that took place that month and turned out to be out of this world. The group of  18 that arrived ending up leaving as a family after the inseparable  moments we shared on this vacation. I would tell anyone that wanted to travel somewhere close, with great weather, great atmosphere, amazing cuisine and hospitality that surpasses most Caribbean Islands visit Grand Cayman, trust me you wont regret it. We have plans on returning hopefully in 2017 again.
